Second Wake Up is a fantastic place for transitional housing for those seeking long term recovery. My son lived there for 3 months and my fiance for 7 years. Second Wake Up provided a safe place to discover God, recovery and community all while maintaining accountability for addiction. The homes are beautiful and well maintained. There's a community garden and events throughout the year that encourages families to attend. It's location with within walking distance of the downtown bus station and several NA or AA meeting in the area. I spent a lot of time in the last 5 years getting to know Andy, Lance and Colleen while spending time with my future husband as well as getting to know the other community members. I highly recommend Second Wake Up to those wanting a head start in strong recovery.Posted on Google

Homes full of like minded individuals from all walks of life; coming together as basically our own community, within Bellingham proper. Close to all the things that matter in your recovery journey. Churches, meeting halls, grocery stores, doctors offices, government buildings and the like. This is a firm foundation for anyone serious about their recovery journey and I would recommend that anyone give it a try and take it seriously, one day at a time. Your life really can be put back together if you want it bad enough and Second Wakeup House really extends that helping hand of opportunity. The community here is great, people are focused on recovery and becoming spiritually sound with the guidance of Jesus. I moved up to Bellingham for a fresh start in my life hours away from home. I'm grateful Second Wakeup Opened their doors for me when I was in a vulnerable place. Though my stay was only a month, other men stay for years because of the positive community and great living conditions. This is a rare sober living and the best one I have been too.
